2 weeks and chubby cheeks

I can't believe Kamryn is already 2 weeks old. She is already starting to grow out of a few of her newborn outfits. She has the sweetest chubby cheeks and is starting to get some rolls on her legs, she has even started trying to hold her head up. She is such a good baby, despite a few tummy problems, that seem to have resolved with a formula change, she rarely cries. The boys are SO in love with her, Karter rarely leaves her alone, he always wants to kiss and hug her, and she totally lets him, even though he is pretty much smothering her most of the time. But I guess a little too much love is better than jealousy.

Coming Home

We've been home for nearly a week, so I thought I would finally post some pictures of Kamryn in her "going home"outfit.

Baby Kamryn is Here!

Our sweet baby girl was born yesterday at 8:03 am she weighed 7lbs 1oz and was 19 in long. So far she has been a little angel. She's been sleeping a ton, and so far she only cries when you unwrap her from her warm blankets. The boys are totally smitten with her, Keaton loves to hold and feed her and made up the nickname "love bug" for her. Karter likes to hold her too, for about 30 seconds then he's done.

Trying to Pass the Time

We officially now have less than a week till our baby gets here. October went so fast we were really hoping November would too, but honestly the last two week have really dragged. I've tried staying busy cleaning the house, (but the boys mess it up just as fast as I can clean it) and going to lots of doctor appointments, every week to the OB and now every week to the Physical therapist.

On Friday my parents took the boys so Kurt and I could go to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and dinner. Then Saturday night and early Sunday morning we got hit hard with a pretty big snow storm. We nearly got a foot of snow. (I guess that's one good thing about being pregnant, I didn't have to shovel!) Kurt took the boys out to build a snowman, Keaton helped a little, and Karter mostly ate the snow.

Our October

October was a busy month for us. And since I haven't updated in awhile this will be a really long post.
Kurt had an extra week of vacation that he needed to use, so he took off the week of UEA. We took the boys to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. Even though it was packed they had a blast.
I also have been trying to get ready for our new addition. My mom made all her bedding and I spent an entire afternoon cutting vinyl circles on my Cricut for her wall.I think it turned out really cute.Then on the 28th both boys had their school parades. Keaton walked by us so fast I barely managed to get pictures. He is Boba Fett, its hard to tell, but he couldn't wear his mask to school. Karter had his first parade and Halloween party, he was so excited, and started asking every day if it was his party day.
The next day was Keaton's birthday, he decided he wanted to go to the Discovery Gateway to do his party. We had a Spongebob theme and my friend Nikki once again made his cake (so cute).
For Halloween it rained on and off most of the day. But the kids didn't seem to mind much. Our neighborhood did trunk or treat earlier in the day, then we went to my parent to go trick or treating. By this time it was pouring, but the boys headed out with grandpa and dad with their umbrellas and managed to score a ton of candy.

Karter's First Day of Preschool!

Today was Karter's first day of preschool. He's been so excited since Keaton started kindergarten, nearly everyday he has asked me when he gets to go to school, but he was a bit disappointed that he doesn't get to ride the bus home. When I drove him over there today I asked if he was excited and he said, "yes, but I'll miss you" (cute). When i picked him up he said he had so much fun and can't wait to go back.

Its finally done!

So our backyard is finally finished. Its been finished for a little while, but I'm just finally getting around to blogging about it. Its been so nice to be able to look out the window and see grass and not weeds. Our favorite part is the fire pit, we've been out there nearly every night making smores or just relaxing by it.
